Recovery/Mobility Day
This has turned out to be a pretty tough week with LOTS of gymnastics, which you've all been crushing! Great job on that. But I know that i'm pretty sore, and my hands are feeling rough, so I promise you won't have to use your hands for gymnastics training today. At all. Actually, you're not allowed to.
Spend 10 min practicing Akinwale Hip Flow
I found this video on Instagram of Elisabeth Akinwale doing a "Hip Flow" and I tried it out. It's tough, but it was a great way to mobilize my hips. And keeping your hands off the floor is a challenge!
See how far you can make it through the flow. Don't worry if you can only do the first two parts for now... Work on them! As your hips become more mobile, you'll be able to continue.
