Skill Practice
10s Pistol Negatives - 7 each leg
- Setup a 24' box, and slowly lower to the bottom of a pistol position.
- Focus with this exercise it to improve BALANCE. Balance is a huge key factor for excelling at pistols.
Skill Training
5 rep Max Height Heel Tap (on each leg)
- Start standing on one 45 plate on your right foot. Tap the heel of your left foot to the floor then stand all the way up. Repeat on your left foot.
- Add one 45 plate each round, until you are unable to complete 5 reps (or until you can't touch the floor with your heel).
- Keep in mind... this is a heel tap! Do not support any weight on the floor.
