Chest to Bar 2.2

 

The focus of today's training is bigger sets with a more consistent butterfly. ALL Rx and Rx+ athletes MUST do butterfly. It's ok if your chest doesn't actually touch the bar, or your chin isn't quite above the bar. Focus on a SMOOTH, CONSISTENT butterfly swing.

7x3 Strict C2B (barbell)

 

Set up barbell so you can grab it while sitting in your heels with toes tucked under. Hips should be directly under the bar. This setup allows you to use the tops of your toes to assist with the strict C2B and self spot.
