Everyone needs to find a partner and be spotted on these. The purpose of the spot is to ensure that every rep is performed technically well, and it will allow a higher volume of work.
The spotter should support the athlete either around the hips or just above the knees, and give just enough help that every rep is done correctly and without any sticking points. HOWEVER, the spotter is only there to assist!
I will be in the gym after 6:30pm ready to spot anyone who asks and anyone who is ready to work.
